It’s Time To Cross Over
Every believer in Jesus is a Priest in God's kingdom and must learn how to steward His Presence. Serving the Lord is a huge joy but also a huge responsibility. By understanding how Joshua led the priests to cross over the Jordan River into the promised land, we can learn valuable lessons for how we too can cross over into new territory that God is giving us. To find out more, check out this Sunday message from Elan Church.
Who’s Side Are You Really On?
Like Daniel, we are called to live in the world but not of it. Our commitment to God should set us apart, allowing us to engage with the world while maintaining our integrity and allegiance to God. Daniel's life exemplifies how one can rise to prominence in a culture contrary to their own while remaining faithful to God. By holding fast to our allegiance to God, we can engage with the world in a way that reflects His favor and truth. This means being willing to stand for truth in challenging environments and ensuring that our actions demonstrate our love for God.
Samson
Samson's greatest enemy was himself, teaching us that self-help is not enough; we need a Savior. Our salvation and righteousness come not from our own works but from faith in God, who forgives sinners. In Christianity, the verdict of being loved by God comes before our performance, freeing us from the constant trial of proving our worth. This truth invites us to rest in God's grace and embrace the freedom that comes from being forgiven and loved by Him.
Make A Choice!
Our lives are like icebergs, with much hidden beneath the surface. This hidden part can contain both treasures and struggles. Bringing these to light allows God to transform us from the inside out, impacting the visible parts of our lives. The iceberg metaphor reminds us that the majority of our spiritual life is unseen, much like the submerged portion of an iceberg. This hidden part of us can hold both the treasures of our faith and the challenges we face. By bringing these hidden aspects into the light, we allow God to work within us, transforming us from the inside out. Life presents us with choices, and as followers of Christ, we are invited to choose faith, even in the face of trials. This choice involves pressing into our faith, enduring challenges, and trusting God with our journey. By choosing faith, we declare our trust in God's plan and His ability to guide us through life's challenges.
What Are You Holding Onto?
Jesus' first miracle—turning water into wine—reveals His incredible transformative power, a power that continues to shape our lives today. This miraculous event teaches us that when we surrender fully to Jesus, He can take our ordinary and make it extraordinary. It’s a call to trust Him with everything, letting go of control and allowing Him to work in us & through us. We are invited to trust Him and boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and to bring His kingdom to earth, just as it is in heaven.

Join us for a heartfelt sermon that marks a significant milestone in our church's journey! Reflect upon cherished memories, celebrate the miracles God has done, and embrace the beginning of a new season. Let's remember God’s past miracles/ blessings and rediscover our purpose as disciples and wise stewards, ready to enter this exciting new season together.
Maintain The Tension
Spending time with God is more than just a daily routine; it is the essence of our spiritual life. Our souls need consistent communion with God to stay aligned with His will. This involves setting aside dedicated time for prayer, worship, and listening to His voice. It’s about building a relationship where we not only speak to God but also hear from Him, understanding His desires and aligning our hearts with His.
Be Honest - Are You Praying?
How vital is prayer in your daily life? The Bible calls us to pray continually, but is that your reality? Prayer isn't just a routine—it's the way we exercise our spiritual authority to bring change in the world. As children of God, it is our obligation to pray. It’s a responsibility we must embrace and never overlook.
Community
Joining a community group isn't just a recommendation—it's a biblical call to live out our faith in a deeper way. It's about shifting our focus from self-centeredness to God and others, moving from merely receiving to actively giving. By committing to community, we align with God's design for His church, growing both spiritually and relationally. Being part of a group allows us to experience essential elements of Christian life—support, accountability, and encouragement. This isn't passive; it requires intentionality, sacrifice, and a willingness to invest in others, just as Christ invested in us.
How To Operate In The Power Of God
Every Christian has spiritual power, but it must be exercised. This power is essential for demolishing strongholds in our lives, families, and communities. If we do not exercise our God-given authority, Satan will use his power against us. This means that we must be vigilant and proactive in using the authority granted to us by Christ.
The Language Of Love
Do you have love issues? Do you struggle to give or receive love? If so, it's time to learn the language of love. You cannot give what you do not have. We must know God's grace, truth, and timing in our life before we can build healthy, life-giving relationships with others. To find out more, check this message from Elan Church.
Giving Up To Surrender
Jesus demands everything from us, not just parts of our lives. This means surrendering our possessions, relationships, and desires to Him. True Christian conversion involves completely reorientating our lives around Jesus Christ, where He becomes the center of all we do.
The Study Of Ephesians Pt. 6- Ephesians 6:1-24
Believers must put on the full armor of God to stand against the devil’s schemes. This includes the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. Each piece is essential for spiritual resilience and maturity. Spiritual warfare is a reality that every believer must face, and being properly equipped is crucial to victory.
The Study Of Ephesians Pt. 5- Ephesians 5:1-33
Life is a fleeting gift, and each moment is an opportunity to live for God. Understanding the brevity of our time on earth helps us prioritize what truly matters and focus on living with an eternal perspective. In his letter to the Ephesian church, Paul addresses many challenges that resonate with the issues we face today. Check out this Sunday message from Elan Church to discover what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and live a life that reflects His love and purpose.
Live By Faith
Abraham's faith was not dictated by his present situation but by the character of God and His promises. Even when life does not look like what we believe it should, we are called to keep our faith and look forward to God's ultimate plan. Our faith should not be dictated by our current situations but by the character and promises of God.
The Study Of Ephesians Pt. 4- Ephesians 4:1-32
Committing your life to Jesus is a momentary decision, but living it out requires a lifetime of growth & maturity. Just as marriage vows are easy to say but challenging to live, our spiritual journey demands continuous effort and dedication. The journey to spiritual maturity is often uncomfortable, much like the physical changes of puberty, but it is essential for our growth.
Are You Going From Glory To Glory?
Understanding glory in its truest sense means recognizing that it is about honoring and magnifying God, not seeking self-admiration or the approval of others. True glory comes from a deep relationship with God, where His presence and favor are sought above all else. This understanding can transform lives, freeing us from the chains of seeking human approval and leading us to a more fulfilling spiritual journey. When we honor God, we align ourselves with His purpose and heart.
The Study Of Ephesians Pt. 3- Ephesians 3:1-21
Paul’s mission in Ephesus was to unite Jews and Gentiles in Christ, breaking down walls of division. This unity is essential for the church today, where cultural and ideological differences can still cause strife. We must strive to be one body in Christ, reflecting His love and grace. In a world that often emphasizes differences, the church is called to be a place of unity.
The Study Of Ephesians Pt. 2- Ephesians 2:1-22
Many Christians struggle in life because they are not properly equipped with the Word of God. Understanding and applying Scripture to our lives is crucial for being effective and bearing fruit. Check out this Sunday message from Elan Church, which will help you to hear & understand the Bible so that you are properly equipped.
Where Is God When Life Is Hard?
Looking at life from an eternal perspective helps us navigate our present struggles. This eternal viewpoint helps us understand that our current sufferings are temporary and that God's justice will ultimately prevail. By focusing on eternity, we can find hope and strength to endure our present hardships, knowing that God's ultimate plan is for our good.
